Notice: Vehicle Import Requirements to Algeria

Aone Cargo would like to remind our clients shipping cars or vehicles to Algiers, Algeria to carefully comply with the following import regulations to avoid delays or additional costs:

1. Vehicle Age Restriction: Used cars must be less than 3 years old. Vehicles older than 3 years are not allowed for import.
2. Bill of Lading Requirements: All containers carrying new or used vehicles must include the following details in the description column of the Bill of Lading (B/L) for each vehicle:
   • Brand and Model
   • Owner’s Name
   • Year of Manufacture
   • Owner’s Passport ID
   • Owner’s National Identification Number (NIN)
   • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
   • Gross Weight
   • Full Name and Address of Final Receiver
3. Bill of Lading Issuance: A single Original Bill of Lading (OBL) must be issued, listing an authorized Algerian deconsolidator as both the consignee and notify party.

Clients are strongly advised to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in shipment delays, penalties, or additional costs, for which the shipper will be responsible.
